Morning

After breakfast, visit Drepung Monastery, one of the largest and most important monasteries of the Gelugpa (Yellow Hat) tradition of Tibetan Buddhism. Founded in 1416 by disciples of Tsongkhapa, it was once home to over 10,000 monks. Explore the grand halls, whitewashed buildings, and impressive religious murals. Drepung Monastery is a key site for understanding Tibetan monastic life and culture.

Afternoon

• Thangka Painting Workshop: Learn about the traditional art of Thangka painting, its symbolism, and techniques. Guests can try painting a small piece under the guidance of expert artists.

• Tibetan Incense Making: Experience making traditional Tibetan incense, an integral part of rituals and daily life in Tibet. Learn about the natural ingredients and their spiritual significance.
