Scenic drive to Bomi
After breakfast, set out for Lulang Forest, one of the most famous scenic spots in Nyingchi. Known as the “Little Switzerland of Tibet,” Lulang is a vast forest area with rolling meadows, snow-capped peaks in the distance, and traditional Tibetan villages scattered across the valley. It is a perfect place to take in the harmonious blend of Tibetan culture and pristine nature.
Travel onward to Sejila Mountain, located east of Nyingchi. At the mountain pass (around 4,728 meters above sea level), you will be greeted by spectacular views of endless pine forests and snow-covered peaks. On clear days, this is also one of the best spots to see the majestic Namjagbarwa Peak, often called the “Father of Tibetan Mountains.”
Continue to Lulang Town, a picturesque Tibetan town nestled among mountains and meadows. Known for its wooden houses and peaceful lifestyle, Lulang gives you a chance to experience authentic Tibetan culture while enjoying breathtaking landscapes.
After exploring Lulang, you will travel through beautiful valleys and rivers on the way to Bomi, where you will spend the night.
Stay at the Bomi Songtsam Linka Hotel (5★) or a similar boutique hotel, offering comfort and stunning mountain views.
